shitake, flat or any other tasty mushrooms
1 clove garlic

It is best to use the most tasty mushrooms you can find and make sure they are as fresh as possible. It is best not to peel them but to slice off their stalks and brush the dirt off with some kitchen paper. Slice the mushrooms into large chunks. Warm some oil in a frying pan and add some crushed garlic. Add the chunks of mushroom. Cook until brown and then if any liquid comes out of the mushrooms keep cooking until the liquid cooks away. This means that the flavours are cooked back into the mushrooms.
Slice the tomatoes in half and grill the skin side. When turning over to grill the other side sprinkle some finely chopped fresh basil on the top. Watch carefully to make sure that the basil doesnt burn.
Remove the crusts from the bread and slice in half. Warm a pan which has a layer of olive oil in the bottom. When warm, carefully place the bread into the oil and cook until golden brown on each side.
