Mince Pie, Apple and Almond Tart

100g ground almonds
100g vegan margarine
200g flour
100g sugar
2 drops almond essence
vegan mince pie filling
cooked apple
vegan shortcrust pastry (or a vegan pastry   case)

Pre heat the oven to 200 degrees. If you are using a   pastry case do not pre cook it. If you are using uncooked pastry - grease the   dish and blind bake for 10 minutes. Add the apple and mince pie filling leaving   a gap for the topping. I usetwo spoons of apple to one spoon of mince pie   filling. For the topping combine the vegan margarine, ground almonds, sugar,   flour and essence in a bowl making fine crumbs. Spread on the top of the dish   pressing down. Bake for 10 minutes or until browned.
